Job Description
Old Rochester Regional School District is seeking a passionate and innovative moderate disabilities special education teacher for Sippican Elementary School in Marion MA. This position will entail responsibilities for daytoday management of the assigned classes provision of instruction and supervision of classroom include but are not limited to: Providing opportunities for individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each students to set and maintain high standards of classroom behavior and achievement which includes working with support staff when with related service providers. Creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students a variety of instructional techniques and instructional mediaWriting and implementing student achievement testing and writing corresponding IEP progress and quarterly reports in regards to IEP goals and achievement.
