Senior Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Sacramento Direct Hire $80k $100k Depending on Experience

Were looking for an experienced Workers Compensation Claims Examiner to manage complex indemnity claims in compliance with California regulations. Youll lead claim investigations coordinate medical care manage litigation and drive timely costeffective resolutionsall while supporting injured workers and employers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex CA workers compensation indemnity claims from start to finish

  • Conduct timely 3point contact and establish compensability

  • Collaborate with medical case managers to support returntowork outcomes

  • Handle litigation strategy and maintain regulatory compliance

  • Set and manage reserves; approve medical and rehab expenses

  • Identify subrogation and fraud opportunities

What You Bring:

  • 3 years in workers compensation claims

  • Deep knowledge of California Labor Code

  • SIP certification required

  • Strong communication investigation and decisionmaking skills
