Work Location & Hours: Chapel 119/ Music Work Study Office/ 9am4pm some evenings
Work is to be done on campus unless otherwise directed. The office is CL 119 but event support may be throughout the campus.
Qualifications for Position:
- Must meet production deadlines
- Must collaborate and communicate well with others
- Positive attitude and flexibility in the workplace
- Must have organizational skills and be detailoriented
- Creative problemsolving sometimes in timepressure situations
- Experience with Canva or other graphic design software
- Filmography video editing photo and sound editing skills are a plus
- Hours are typically 1015 hours/week
Expected Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce photo/video for press releases and social media promotion
- Write and distribute PSAs and press releases
- Create artwork for posters programs or other promotional needs in collaboration with the Department of Music staff.
- Copywriter for social media content
- Coordinate with the manager to handle the music departments social media accounts and mailing lists
- Coordinate with the manager to handle the music departments event ticketing
- Assist with other written materials for the department such as the website and programs
- Assist with other aspects of concert production if necessary
