Job Overview
TMobile seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer focused on cyber resilience to protect our Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems against attacks. You will implement strategy to secure critical infrastructure through design and recovery testing.
Were seeking a motivated IAM specialist to strengthen security and resilience via a robust IAM framework. The ideal candidate will have strong cybersecurity knowledge and handson experience with CyberArk AD and Entra for identity and access control.
This role involves implementing secure IAM solutions managing privileged and hybrid identities enforcing strong authentication automating account lifecycles hardening infrastructure and participating in incident response and recoery testing to minimize risks and ensure business continuity.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop architect and implement strategies for IAM resiliency.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement standard processes for IAM security.
- Ensure the integrity and availability of identity management systems.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams to align on resiliency objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in identity resiliency practices.
- Build documentation for Incident Response Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning.
- Anticipate identify and address issues with tight timelines.
- Organizes large scale analysis efforts spanning multiple departments.
- Collaborates and builds longterm relationships with key partners. Anticipates likely collaborator responses to specific recommendations and can address accordingly.
- Leads information security review of new technologies designs and remediation planning efforts.
- Collaborates with Engineering & Operations Teams to address IAM security vulnerabilities.
- Proactively identifies process or technology improvements within existing legacy applications or infrastructure and seeks out remediation.
- Investigates and/or leads identifying security needs & recommends plans/resolutions. Implements tests & monitors info security improvements.
- Works with groups such as application support engineering ops finance privacy risk management etc.
- Experience with the analysis of underlying technologies that form the solution necessary for the application of threat identification analysis and thread model design. The threat model depicts trust boundary threat agent(s) threat vector(s) and safeguard(s) necessary to protect person asset data and TMobile brand.
- Proactively identifies areas that need to be developed and seeks out expertise in those areas. Stays ahead of current developments and trends and can use this knowledge to create a case to address major issues and create specific action plans to address the gaps that the team controls. Plays a leadership role in the execution of that action plan.
- Leads security projects driven by groups both internal and external to info security.
- Domain expert in multiple facets of network & information security IAM business continuity disaster recovery asset management recovery testing and other topics as assigned.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelors Degree Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience (Required)
- 24 years Experience with increasing responsibility with security related software and/or business process design (Required)
- 24 years Experience with the following: project/team lead IAM expertise and facilitation of multifunctional solution design teams.
- 47 years Technical Project Management
- Incident Response and Recovery Planning Experience with developing and implementing incident response plans disaster recovery strategies and business continuity plans.
- Be domain expert in multiple security subject areas.
- Experience with high level design architecture security technologies networking web services and SOA.
Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of endpoint protection and secure architecture design.
- Knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the area of info security.
- Ability to create technical specifications and requirements and work independently. Able to quickly adapt to new or evolving technologies related to new product & services requiring validation or research.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
