Job Description

Your Career

The Technical Account Manager will act as a trusted advisor to our customers to help ensure efficient Palo Alto Networks Unit 42 Managed Services adoption. In this role you will work closely with CISOs Security Architects Security Engineers and Operations teams within midtolarge enterprises to implement bestinbreed Managed Detection and Response & Managed Threat Hunting services. The end result is increased customer satisfaction value retention and expansion of the Unit 42s security footprint.

Your Impact

  • Act as the main technical point of contact for Managed Services customers owning the relationship endtoend

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer stakeholders executive sponsors and partners to drive the managed services adoption to ensure they are leveraging the solution to achieve full business value

  • Leverage deep knowledge of MSSP/MDR operations XDR SOAR and incident response to guide customers

  • Be the first line of defense in solving customer technical  questions/clarifications and coordinating and prioritizing timely resolutions with engineering teams and become a Subject Matter expert over time

  • Drive onboarding service adoption and ongoing alignment.

  • Manage escalations service reviews and response coordination with internal teams

  • Own and lead projects in a fastmoving highpressure environment

  • Adapt quickly build workflows and help define scalable processes to improve service delivery

  • Communicate clearly with both technical and executive stakeholders.


Qualifications :

Your Experience 

  • 4 years in cybersecurity including 3 years in a customerfacing technical role (TAM Security Consultant Solutions Engineer etc.)

  • Solid understanding of security operations threat detection and incident response workflows

  • Experience working with MDR EDR XDR or SIEM platforms

  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate complex security topics to technical and nontechnical stakeholders

  • A customerfirst mindset with proven ability to build trust and longterm relationships

  • Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive ownershipdriven approach

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fastpaced dynamic environment

  • Proven track record of managing customer escalations balancing customer expectations and negotiating successful resolutions

  • Highly datadriven with a commitment to following process

  • Team player with the highest level of integrity who will innovate to continue improving the way we serve our customers

  • Previous experience with a Cybersecurity/SaaS solutions company and/or an enterprise software company highly desired

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level the starting base salary (for nonsales roles) or base salary commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $128000 $209000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
