Job Description

gTANGIBLE Corporation (gTC) is a S corporation and a registered small business Government contractor that provides services and solutions in:

Position Title: Proposal Developer/Writer

This Proposal Developer/Writer participates in the development of responses to U.S. Government (USG) solicitations such as Sources Sought (SS) Responses Request for Information (RFI) Responses Proposals in response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Quotations in response to Requests for Quotations (RFQs) including compliance matrices response templates content development color team reviews and the production of volumes to be submitted to the USG. Works directly for the CEO.

Location: Primarily remote work. When required at gTANGIBLEs company HQ (2800 Eisenhower Avenue Suite 104 Alexandria Virginia 22314)

Security Clearance Level: None required. However must be able to pass background checks (criminal and financial).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review incoming solicitations (RFIs SSes RFPs and RFQs) and deconstruct them for their response requirements.
  • Analyze USG solicitations Sections L and M (or equivalent such Instructions to Offerors) for proposal requirements.
  • Develop compliance matrices for proposal responses to solicitations.
  • Template (outline and develop response instructions) for technical management and past performance volumes.
  • Contribute to all aspects of the proposal development process including: strategies and themes storyboarding writing editing design scheduling work sessions and advanced graphics/desktop publishing support.
  • Generate track review and followup on data calls for internal and subcontractor teammates.
  • Work directly with corporate executives managers and SMEs to create proposal content inclusive of technical solutions management approaches and past performance references.
  • When required by the solicitation support key personnel and other candidate resume templating converting original raw resume content to proposal quality resumes; and work with proposed candidates to acquire required information.
  • Attend and contribute to proposal progress meetings.
  • Assist in the companys preparations for color team reviews and participate in recovery efforts.
  • Support lessons learned processes by evaluating proposal workflow and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage and update proposal boilerplates templates and ready reference libraries.
  • Support the final production phase of the proposal process.

Knowledge and Qualifications

The Proposal Developer/Writer must meet the following requirements and have the following experience knowledge skills and abilities:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience performing proposal responses in one or more of the following positions: proposal developer proposal writer proposal coordinator technical writer or business writer.
  • Minimum 3 years of knowledge and experience in US Government contracting supporting the delivery of products and/or services to the federal government.
  • Bachelor of Arts degree in English Journalism Communications Business/ Professional Writing or related field. A Masters degree in a related field is a bonus.
  • Excellent command of English grammar spelling punctuation syntax and composition.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Experienced and capable of Desktop Publishing word processing and PowerPoint slide development in support of proposal development.
  • Ability to work well in time constrained deadline driven conditions.
  • Graduate of one or more Shipley proposal and/or capture related courses (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience providing quality customer service to Government employees military personnel contractors and/or visitors.
