Job Description
Aftermarket Lead Full Time
What Youll Be Doing
We are looking for All Stars! If you are a dedicated individual interested in joining a growing company in the automotive parts industry we want you on our team!
As a Distribution Lead you will perform the production duties below:
- Oversee all responsibilities processes and personnel for our pick pack & ship Aftermarket operation.
- Maintain the keeping of all assigned records and metrics.
- Train new employees to follow all department processes.
- Perform all daily tasks to include receiving picking shipping and processing returns.
- Support other job assignments as needed by the Site Manager.
- Participates and leads daily meetings.
- Assign department team members to their daily responsibilities.
- Enforce Company safety policies procedures and good housekeeping practices.
- Promote and fulfil company goals and competencies.
- Champion our mentality of Accuracy is Quality through all the assigned processes.
- Drive continuous improvement within the department.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working in a leadership capacity for a warehouse manufacturing picking & shipping environment is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
- Microsoft Suite knowledge a plus.
- Strong focus on quality deeply care about the product quality and your work.
- High degree of professional credibility including responsiveness team focus and interest and ability to perform work in a safe environment.
- Inventory experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems a plus.
Other
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 1012 hours.
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
- Regular bending lifting stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
