Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Smile and greet guests
- Presents menus to guests and inform them of specials and promotions
- Check guest identification if necessary to ensure they meet the minimum age requirement for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Takes guest orders and accurately communicates them to the kitchen
- Maintains a knowledge of the menu items
- Ability to explain how various menu items are prepared
- Serves food and beverages in a friendly and professional manner
- Checks back frequently with guests to ensure all needs and expectations are being met
- Prepares checks using the pointof sale computer system
- Posts payments using the pointofsale computer system
- Removes dishes and glasses from tables and counters to take them to the kitchen for washing
- Stocks and cleans service areas and tables as needed
- Understands and applies all health department standards
- Maintains professional appearance and adheres to uniform standards
- Reports hygienic or maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Responds to all emergency situations as needed
- Cooperates with other departments to provide a positive guest experience

- Completes additional duties as assigned by supervisors managers or directors

Experience:
- Three or more months restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude outgoing and friendly
- Desire to contribute to a supportive and effective team
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fastpaced setting
