Job Description

This position will free the reconciliation staff to do research and work more closely with the various business offices on clearing outstanding items more timely. The students will work 25 hours per week. We are asking to hire these graduate students between the period of June 2 2025 August 31 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform critical financial activity including preparing monthly reconciliations.

  • Complete reconciliation on all accounts in a timely matter in order to maintain high fiscal integrity and responsibility.

  • Research and review outstanding items and reports meticulously tracing input back to the source.

  • Resolving and documenting errors in financial reports.

  • Assist with all aspects of reconciliations under supervisor.

  • Assisting the financial management department with various tasks including analysis of reconciliation reports and documents.

  • Filing the documents electronically and other duties as assigned.

  • Other duties as requested for the courses.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in an applicable field.

  • Must be enrolled as a fulltime graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semester).

  • Must be in good academic standing.
