QUALIFICATIONS:
- An appropriate knowledge and background of office procedures.
- Previous experience in customer service office procedures and/or a related AAS degree preferred.
- Positive demeanor with the ability to interact positively with students parents coworkers and visitors in person and on the phone.
- Excellent organizational skills and an attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills including data entry and word processing (QuickBooks Mail Merge Word Access Student Information Systems).
- Ability to work independently using excellent organizational skills while coordinating multiple projects at one time.
- Bilingual a plus.
- National Career Readiness Certificate level Bronze or higher a plus.
REPORTS TO: Director of Student Services Vice President
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide customer service to visitors staff and students with questions about admissions campus events parking and general information.
- Perform main reception duties in the Student Center including greeting visitors answering questions and wayfinding.
- Primary person responsible for answering the phones directing calls to the appropriate party and assisting people over the phone.
- Prepare admissions letter flow and process daily requests for admissionsrelated information.
- Assist Admission Representatives with scheduling high school visits and career fairs.
- Respond to tour requests and contact us emails.
- Enter data pertaining to inquiry cards from campus visits career fairs etc.
- Send thank you notes to those who tour campus or meet with an admissions representative.
- Assist with processing and monitoring admission applications and invoices.
- Support other student services when possible including transcripts registration diplomas and test outs.
- Perform tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Other duties as assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Twelve month contract with salary and benefits set by the Watertown School Board.
