Job Description

Senior Program Manager Executive Fleet

Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Program Manager (Level L) to support the Executive Fleet Team in San Antonio TX.

VC25B has an exciting opportunity for a senior manager in Program Management to join the program as VC25B Environmental Control System (ECS) and Mission Communication System (MSC) leader. The ECS and MCS leader will lead a cross functional integrated product team for development integration and production of the ECS and MCS. The ECS and MCS leader will be a key member of the Aircraft Systems Integrated Product Team.

This role will be the primary interface to United States Air Force stakeholders for ECS and MCS and will work with Boeings global supplier network for ECS and MCS.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and firstlevel managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management.
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives.
  • Acquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
  • Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan.
  • Manages develops and motivates employees and firstlevel managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience leading through influence and partnering with crossfunctional teams on projects transactions or initiatives
  • 1 year of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
  • Familiarity with Risk Issue Opportunity (RIO) Management
  • 3 years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience in a role that required detailed knowledge of systems engineering principles to solve engineering problems create processdriven documentation write and derive formal requirements manage project requirements and produce task schedules

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Experience working with Military or DoD customers
  • 3 years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • Experience in a production environment

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel: Willing and able to travel up to 25% domestically
