This position allows you to collaborate with mental health providers law enforcement and the judicial system to provide training and support for individuals under involuntary commitment. As a County Caseworker 3 you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the mental health commitment process including scheduling hearings ensuring compliance with policies and handling required documentation. Work involves securing copies of commitment forms from hospitals and courts as well as assessing involuntary commitment calls for approval or denial of a 302 warrant. You will have the opportunity to serve as a liaison between the department and outside providers to ensure commitment processes are in compliance with established policies and procedures.
