The Dover and Sherborn Public Schools seeks a Long Term Sub Occupational Therapist to support children (K5) staff and families within the elementary and high school levels beginning Monday August 25 2025 and ending on October 31 2025. This is a parttime positionPotential Flexibility Around Part Time or Full TimeThe certified Occupational Therapist provides quality schoolbased occupational therapy services including assessment/evaluation intervention/treatment IEP planning and implementation discharge planning related documentation and communication between teachers paraprofessionals related service providers and families. Develop strengthbased child and familycentered IEPs/504 plans. Conduct assessments analyze results and write reports. Perform evaluations of mobility muscle tone and orthopedic needs. Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with all guidelines. Maintain accurate records progress notes and service logs. Educate families on therapy techniques for home use. Collaborate with families teachers and professionals. Use highexpectation inclusive instructional practices tailored to diverse learners. Plan accessible engaging lessons with clear goals. Foster active family involvement in school and the classroom. Reflect on and improve professional practice through data analysis and district is committed to strengthening opportunities for diversity equity and inclusion.
