Warehouse Tech - Temp to Hire

Job Summary: This Warehouse Tech position is responsible for keeping supply areas clean organized and safe while ensuring all inventory is accurately managed and available when needed. Youll follow standard procedures to receive store and restock supplies check for expired items and help maintain the supply system. Clear communication with clinical staff and the Supply Chain team is key especially when addressing supply issues like stockouts or delays. You may also be asked to assist with other duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Replenishment & Inventory Management

• Follow Supply Chain SOPs to check pull clean fill and receive supplies along designated delivery routes for full replenishment.
• Monitor supply levels to ensure accurate stock is available to meet clinical demand; respond proactively to changing usage patterns.
• Perform staging activities and physical inventory counts as needed to maintain accurate onhand records.
• Deliver STAT items or special requests promptly to clinical areas.
• Identify and communicate stockouts and substitute items to clinical staff and the Supply Chain Distribution team.
• Pick correct quantities in proper units of measure and use ERP systems and supply chain technology with accuracy and consistency.

Safety & Organization

• Keep all distribution and supply areas clean organized and compliant with Infection Control and Supply Chain standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment and report any supply area maintenance needs to management.
• Perform supply area upkeep as needed including hardware replacement relabeling and reorganization.
• Regularly check for and remove expired or outdated supplies to maintain quality standards.

Communication & Customer Service

• Maintain open and professional communication with clinical staff and the Supply Chain team.
• Quickly report any supply interruptions such as backorders or delivery issues to appropriate stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong job knowledge by meeting productivity goals and completing tasks within designated timeframes.
• Support the team by performing other duties as assigned by leadership including supervisors coordinators or department heads.

Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications listed below (along with education/experience) are representative of the knowledge skills and abilities needed to perform this job successfully. • High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience in Warehouse or Supply Chain activity and capable of operating heavy equipment required
• 1 year healthcare supply chain experience preferred.
• Demonstrates teamwork/cooperation in providing services to direct/indirect customers
• Ability to maintain clear communication with departmental management clinical staff and end users.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time crouch push/pull and lift up to 70lbs
• Ability to operate stationary manual or power equipment such as palletizers folk lift and ride on.
• Ability to stand walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to perform basic functions on a handheld device with appropriate training.
