Job Title:Radiation Oncology Therapist
Location:Medford Oregon
Schedule:Monday Friday;8:00 AM 5:00 PM (40 hours guaranteed)
Pay Range: $47.22 $70.82/hour (Based on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology Therapistto join a dedicated cancer care team near Medford Oregon. This fulltime role offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to work with advanced radiation therapy technologies including Varian TrueBeamand Accuray Radixact/Tomotherapy
systems. The ideal candidate willhave a solid foundation in external beam radiation therapya passion for patientcentered care and a strong commitment to clinical excellence.
Responsibilities:
Deliver external beam radiation therapy to patients using Varian TrueBeam and/or Accuray Radixact (Tomotherapy) systems.
Operate CT simulation equipment as part of treatment planning and imaging (CT experience highly preferred).
Ensure precise treatment delivery following physician prescriptions and departmental protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records treatment documentation and equipment logs.
Collaborate with radiation oncologists dosimetrists and physicists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in quality assurance and machine warmup/calibration procedures.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience
in external beam radiation therapy treatment delivery on:
Varian 21EX / TrueBeam systems
Accuray Tomotherapy (Radixact) equipment
Preferred Experience:
Clinical CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
Required Certifications and Licensure:
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
OBMI (Oregon Board of Medical Imaging) Radiation Therapy License
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
