What the heck is On Call Please dont confuse this with beck and call. On Call status at ICF is like fancy freelancing. Well set you up with a laptop and all the software and connect you with the team. The big plus is that the hours are flexible for you and for ICF we look at our needs and yours and come up with a plan sometimes it might be just a few hours a week sometimes 30 depends on the projects your schedule and so on. An On Call position has the potential to transition into fulltime employment.
In this role you will:
- Write copy for a wide range of media including social web print radio and video.
- Think strategically while developing ideas and concepts for projects and campaigns.
- Make deadline. Seems obvious but its kind of a thing here.
- Work until its good. We support and encourage work/life balance but at the end of the day we have to deliver a remarkable product.
- Multitask. Were a big studio lots of people lots of projects. You will have to know when to dive deep into the work and when to surface for everything else.
- Develop concepts based on audience insight and strategy and be able to articulate same
- Develop a message platform knowing the difference between that and to market copy
What were looking for:
- Experience in using emerging Ai applications both in static and dynamic forms
- Excellent organizational skills with solid attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills. Youll be stepping forward with a vision and need to inspire the account team junior creative staff and of course the client.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience as a copywriter preferably within an agency environment.
- Bachelors degree (preferably in marketing advertising communications) or equivalent experience in a related field.
- A portfolio that shows strong concepting and copywriting skills across a range of pieces including longform content.
