Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a DISTRICT SALES MANAGER this position will be located in Southern California based out of our West Region office in Cypress CA. The position requires up to 20% overnight travel.
Objectives:
  • Develop and execute a successful sales and marketpenetration strategy to achieve orders and growth plans for the Mahr product lines in the district.
  • This role encompasses account management of existing customers with a strong emphasis on achieving sales in new and emerging segments.
  • Develop and maintain strong working partnerships with key distributors
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure achievement of company goals and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Execution of a sales business plan in an outside sales role as part of a Regional Sales team.
  • Experience in dimensional metrology and associated principles of manufacturing.
  • Experience in outside industrial sales of metrology equipment (preferred) or closely related technical product.
  • Capital equipment sales experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to create and develop lasting relationships with both customers and colleagues.
  • Highly selfmotivated individual with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • A professional approach to sales account management and business development.
  • The successful candidate will proactively drive personal and company success.
  • A technical degree is required or commensurate military and on the job training.
