Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian I to join our facilities team in Kenner United States. As a Custodian I you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness safety and overall appearance of our facilities while creating a welcoming environment for all occupants.
- Clean and sanitize assigned areas including hallways restrooms offices and common spaces
- Perform regular trash collection and disposal according to established protocols
- Execute standard and specialized cleaning procedures using appropriate equipment and materials
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and storage areas
- Operate various cleaning equipment while following safety guidelines
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify and report maintenance issues
- Respond promptly to emergency cleaning situations and special requests
- Complete daily cleaning schedules and task lists efficiently
- Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture for special events
- Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of custodial or cleaning experience preferred
- Physical ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 100 pounds
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning products equipment and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Valid drivers license for operating cleaning equipment
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
