You will oversee maintenance at our 225unit apartment home community in Center City Philadelphia.
A bit more about what youll do
- Lead and develop a team of 12 direct reports
- Provide exemplary service to residents and team members
- Manage all aspects of property maintenance which includes vendor relationships service staff preventative maintenance apartment turns and resident service requests
- Communicate property maintenance and capital needs to management and ensure maintenance and capital needs are addressed
- Ensure property is in compliance with AIR operating procedures/guidelines regulations and other compliance matters including those related to Environmental Health & Safety
- Manage budget efficiently to maximize return on investment while maintaining highest level of quality and customer service
Qualifications :
- At least 2 years of experience with technical maintenance and facilities
- At least 3 years of experience with technical maintenance and facilities management ideally in property management or similar industry (hospitality retail restaurants etc.)
- 13 years of experience leading a team of people in customer service and asset maintenance
As an AIR Service Manager you must have:
- A reliable mode of transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends 7day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality) and oncall shifts (at least one week a month)
- Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery
- Ability to read write and speak English
