Job Description
The Role
We are looking to hire a highly efficient driver helper to assist company drivers with all deliveries.
Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To
- Loading and unloading company products
- Completing accurate delivery records and reports
- Reporting all deliveryrelated problems to senior staff
- Effectively communicating with clients and customers
- Assisting with the unloading of the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift.
- Obtaining clients and customers signatures as an acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.
- Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Performs other duties as assigned may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time as needed
Peripheral Duties: Tasks and special projects as assigned by Transportation Supervisor
Qualifications :
Required Skills and Experience
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 75 lbs frequently
- Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to work as a team memberworks as a coworker
- Communicator Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
- Ability to solve routine problems and solve basic math
- Ability to understand and follow all safety rules procedure manuals and diagrams
- Warehouse experience helpful but not necessary
- Riding pallet Jack experience preferred not required
