Xylem is Hiring! Regional Technical Service Manager Flygt Submersible Pumps. Electromechanical Experience

TheRegional Technical Service Manager Flygt (Submersible Pumps) is responsible for leading service operations within an assigned region. The Regional Technical Service Manager will develop and implement plans for driving service center improvements in customer owned repairs field services startups commissioning and preventive maintenance activities. Support the service call center process by providing support to our end users 24/7/365.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Submersible Pumps troubleshooting and diagnostics

• Electromechanical Experience

• Lead service efforts regionally with focus on customer satisfaction.

• Guide the service efforts of all Flygt (and other relevant Xylem brands) OEM service facilities in the Region.

• Review and manage service metrics with regards to repair time to quote time to repair and quality / warranty.

• Provide service and shop operational guidance to the Sales/Service branch operations in the assigned area in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

• Provide supervision and training to appropriate personnel to assure smooth efficient and effective service operations (includes inshop repairs startups and field service).

• Interface with endusers handling service problems and startups either by phone or onsite visit.

• Manage equipment repairs for the region and individual service centers.

• Assist with the scheduling of equipment resources and employees for large projects along with reviewing all associated documents in conjunction with the local branches.

• Assist the Regional Operations Manager and Service Center Managers to streamline operational processes and create standards within the region.

• Participates in crossfunctional teams to enhance the operational experience for Xylem customers and increase profitability including identifying planning and executing opportunities for growth and expansion within region.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have experience with electrical control panels VFDs PLCs SCADA systems and other electronic systems and instrumentation.

• Submersible Pump/Rotary Equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics experience

• 5 years related experience working in the field of wastewater projects and products.

• High School Diploma required. Continued education is preferred but not required.

• Strong working knowledge of the theories governing the operation and application of various Flygt and other relevant Xylem brand products is necessary.

• Working knowledge in water/wastewater processes including pumping and various treatment equipment

• Treatment focus around disinfection (UV Ozone) aeration and filtration

• Thorough understanding of systems troubleshooting and the benefits of establishing solid service practices for the operating and fiscal benefit of the company distribution and the enduser.

• Very strong customer focus and interaction to ensure optimum relationships.

• Must have proactive ES & H focus in and around company and customer worksites; as well as on travel to and from.

• Strong leadership supervisory prioritization and communication skills (written and verbal) are necessary to help define develop and enforce initiatives.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel Quote for Service & SFDC.

DAY IN THE LIFE: In this role the working environment is a field and high production work environment and requires frequent work outdoors including working in high temperatures for 7 or more hours per day. The physical demands may include but not limited to regularly sitting standing walking and lifting up to 75lbs. In addition this role may spend up to significant time in the field.
