JOB OBJECTIVES

• Champions Eagle Brooks volunteer culture as established by the Central Ministry team
• Helps create and measure volunteer structures recruitment onboarding and development systems across all ministry areas
• Collaborates with the Ministry Systems Manager on utilizing the church management system for volunteerrelated efforts
• Reports to the Senior Ministry Operations Director

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Develops tools systems and resources that:
• Define volunteer structures and role descriptions
• Assist ministry leaders with best practices as they recruit onboard and develop volunteers
• Communicate standards for consistency
• Works cross functionally to develop and manage the volunteer learning management system for onboarding and training volunteers
• Creates leadership and spiritual development resources for volunteer directors and team leads to use as they lead and develop volunteer teams
• Collaborates with crossfunctional teams to improve volunteer development strategies and resources
• Develops strategies for campuses to recruit volunteers
• Creates and maintains servingculture vision and resources for ministry teams
• Leverages church management system to track and measure outcomes of volunteer engagement
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Churchs nine core beliefs
• 3 years of administrative experience in a fast paced professional environment
• Experience leading equipping and developing volunteers
• Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in webbased applications and database (Basecamp Rock or similar)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelors degree in administration business education or ministry
• Experience working with volunteer programs and/or church staff
• Database expertise including Community Church Builder

JOB DETAILS

• Location: Centerville MN
• Status: Nonexempt/Hourly
• Salary Range: $23.00 $27.00 an hour
• Full/Part Time: Full Time
• Regular/Temporary: Regular
• Workdays: Monday Friday (generally)
• Work Hours: 8:00 am 4:30 pm (generally)
• Remote Eligible: may be eligible to work remotely one day per week
• Ministry/Department: Central Ministry
• Team: Ministry Operations

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Regular assessing the accuracy neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
• Regular communicating with others to exchange information
• Regular sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
• Occasional moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
• Occasional moving of self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
• Occasional repeating motions that may include the wrists hands and/or fingers
• Occasional light work that includes adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions
• Occasional working in high temperatures and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind
