We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead and optimize procurement operations for a growing organization in the aerospace and manufacturing space. This leadership role will be responsible for driving sourcing strategies managing supplier relationships and building a highperforming procurement team to support critical production and engineering goals.
Develop and execute procurement strategies for aerospace and industrialgrade materials components and systems.
Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists fostering a culture of continuous improvement and lean purchasing.
Evaluate supplier performance and market conditions to identify costsaving opportunities and improve lead times.
Expand and strengthen the supplier base including dualsourcing initiatives and onboarding suppliers certified to industry standards.
Negotiate supplier contracts to ensure optimal pricing delivery terms and quality.
Monitor procurement KPIs and contribute to companywide operational goals.
Collaborate crossfunctionally with engineering production quality finance and program management teams.
Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and certification requirements (e.g. ITAR FAR/DFARS EAR).
Strong analytical and negotiation skills to drive supplier performance and financial value.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and bills of materials to support sourcing decisions.
Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Excellent communication skills for both internal collaboration and external supplier relationships.
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain preferably within aerospace or manufacturing.
Track record of successful contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
Must meet U.S. Person requirements due to export control regulations.
Masters degree or MBA.
Professional certifications (e.g. CPSM CSCP).
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (specific platforms a plus but not required).
