Position Description

Serco is seeking a Principal Military Trainer Integration Analyst to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting the Joint Staff J7 Joint Force Development in Suffolk Virginia. This position is contingent upon contract award budget and customer approval.

In this role you will:

  • Provide supervision and leadership to the Collection Analyst team.
  • Conduct interviews collect information develop reports and deliver tailored analysis on joint lessons in support of planning concept implementation assessment and execution.
  • Track and disseminate products supporting resolution actions across the Doctrine Organization Training Materiel Leadership Education Personnel Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPFP) spectrum.
  • Combine joint interagency and multinational experience with knowledge of national strategy and CCMD operations to assess concept implementation and operational effectiveness.
  • Develop methods to collect and analyze data in support of periodic assessments of emerging concept essential elements.
  • Identify assessment objectives key tasks and desired end states; develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and associated Measures of Performance (MOP) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOE).
  • Support the development of comprehensive concept implementation Assessment Plans.
  • Conduct assessments and deliver tailored reports and presentations for designated events (6 per year) and biannual assessment surveys.
  • Participate in Assessment Matrix Team (AMT) and OPGled meetings engaging stakeholders and recommending collection opportunities.
  • Monitor and assess Essential Element (EE) development application and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional and/or military leadership experience; or
  • Masters degree with a minimum of 4 years of professional and/or military leadership experience.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Thorough understanding of national strategy policy and decisionmaking.
  • Experience in joint and multinational operations and/or exercises.
  • Executivelevel analysis assessment and writing skills.
  • Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. Passport.
  • Willingness and ability to travel worldwide as needed (up to 25% of the time) including to hazardous duty locations.
  • Ability to work onsite in Suffolk Virginia.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience on a 3star or 4star Joint or Service Headquarters staff or civilian agency equivalent.
  • Understanding of the Joint Planning Process (JPP).
  • Joint Forces Staff College (JPMEII) or Senior Service School graduate.
  • Experience preparing and conducting seminars or study groups for flag officers.
  • Experience compiling and presenting lessons learned and afteraction review material.
  • Experience with operational planning efforts at the operational and strategic levels.
