Job Description
Tandem an ISO 9001:2015 certified mail facility offers fullservice mail and fulfillment firstclass presort and thirdclass mail processing. General Responsibilities: Daily operation of postage meter equipment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Sort and prepare unmetered mail as necessary report quality problems to the metering team leader.
- Operate postage machine and accounting terminal accurately.
- Record any spoilage or mistakes on the account tape for correction by the metering team leader.
- Perform quality checks on finished mail before release to MLOCR.
- Process mail efficiently to meet MLOCR cutoff time.
- Keeps work area neat and clean.
- Report any suspected abuse neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
- Report to work as scheduled.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
