The Tax Manager will lead our global tax compliance efforts overseeing U.S. federal and state income tax filings international tax reporting and sales tax obligations. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in tax regulations experience with general ledger reconciliation and the ability to operate crossfunctionally in a fastpaced environment.
100% Remote Anywhere within the US
Own the preparation and submission of all international tax filings in accordance with local requirements.
Manage U.S. federal and state income tax returns coordinating with external tax advisors as needed.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of sales and use tax returns across relevant jurisdictions.
Reconcile taxrelated general ledger accounts and prepare supporting schedules on a monthly basis.
Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure tax payments are accurate and processed on time.
Prepare and record journal entries related to tax activities and accruals.
Support monthly and annual close processes by providing required tax documentation and analysis.
Assist with tax audits notices and requests from tax authorities.
Monitor changes in tax laws and assess potential impacts on the business.
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
35 years of progressive tax experience including exposure to international and multistate filings.
Solid understanding of U.S. tax compliance and reporting requirements.
Strong experience with general ledger reconciliation and journal entry preparation.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite is preferred.
CPA certification or active progress toward certification is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams.
