Job Description
ATCS is seeking an energetic highly motivated detailoriented selfstarter to join our team as Senior Highway Project Manager in Pennsylvania.
This is an exciting opportunity to support a rapidly growing bridge practice in Pennsylvania. The individual will perform a variety of engineering tasks related to PennDOT PA Turnpike and various municipal roadway design projects. The diversity of responsibilities requires a flexible mindset and cooperative teamoriented attitude with progressively increasing leadership and management capabilities and opportunities. This position can be based out of the ATCS Camp Hill or Altoona offices with hybrid flexibility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily responsibilities may include project design task management client contact and quality control.
- Development of roadway construction documents specifically roadway plans profiles typical sections maintenance of traffic plans cost estimating and planning
- Preparing reports and studies
- Preparing for attending and participating in public meetings
- Directing others in performing designs for various roadway infrastructure projects based on AASHTO PennDOT and local municipality requirements; reviewing and managing designs prepared by others
- Coordinating with contractors utility companies and government agencies
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineers license in PA is required
- MicroStation ORD experience is preferred
- Familiarity with AASHTO PennDOT and regional design standards practices and policies
- Experience with PennDOT/PA Turnpike Highway Project Management

Our employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position we offer a competitive salary range of $89100 to $133650 per year commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus with a target 2% of the employees annualized salary.
