Job Description

Position Summary
The Vice President of Measurement and Verification (M&V) will lead and oversee all measurement and verification efforts across the organization. This key executive role ensures accurate evaluation of project performance energy savings and operational efficiency directly impacting the organizations commitment to transparency sustainability and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in energy efficiency sustainability and performance verification methodologies with a strong background in data analytics project management and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement the organizations M&V strategy aligning with business goals and industry standards.
Lead crossfunctional teams to ensure consistent execution of M&V processes.
Identify opportunities for innovation in M&V tools methodologies and practices.
Operational Oversight
Oversee the measurement and verification of energy performance contracts renewable energy systems and other sustainability projects.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. IPMVP ASHRAE) and regulatory requirements.
Maintain rigorous quality control for all M&V reports and data analyses.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams clients and external auditors on M&V matters.
Present findings analyses and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Provide thought leadership on industry trends standards and emerging technologies.
Team Development
Build mentor and manage a highperforming M&V team.
Foster a culture of accountability innovation and professional growth.
Establish and track performance metrics for the M&V team.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Preferred:
Bachelors or masters degree in engineering Energy Management Environmental Science Database Analytics or a related field.
10 years of experience in energy efficiency sustainability or related industries including 5 years in a leadership role.
Certification as a Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
Skills and Knowledge
Deep understanding of M&V protocols methodologies and tools.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Proven track record of managing largescale projects and budgets.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in relevant software tools and data analysis platforms.
