SUMMARY: To use instructional practices to meet English Language Learners proficiency English levels for students at their appropriate grade : Salary: $43350.73 $81769.12 Stipend (SY25/26)Lewiston Public Schools offers a robust employee benefits package for fulltime employees including: health insurance with up to 85% of the premium paid by the employer; dental vision life short and longterm disability insurance; flexible spending and dependent care accounts; Maine Public Employee 403(b) and 457 retirement plans; 15 paid sick days per year; tuition reimbursement and more!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be district approved curriculum aligned to Maine Learning Results and local learning the LAU PLAN at assigned records and meets federal state and local with district directors ELL coordinator school administrators and school staff in meeting appropriate instructional English proficiency assessments i.e. access access accommodations on the MEA and local designated common the curriculum and instructional practices in meeting Maine Learning Results standards and local learning collaboratively with classroom teachers special education and Title I student daily participation in the ELL as a resource to students and parents for educational related a classroom environment that is conducive to RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise classroom ELL REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general SKILLS:Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plan and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical ABILITY:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional to plan and implement to establish and maintain effective relationships with students peers and in oral and written to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and school committee DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
