Qualifications:
Reports To:Coordinator of Health Services and School PrincipalSCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES::
The primary objective of school health services provided by the school nurse is to foster the optimum level of wellness for students and staff. The school nurse provides a broad range of health services including acute episodic and emergency care. School nurses manage the care of students with special health care needs at school. The school nurse coordinates the health needs of students to reduce barriers and promote effective learning. The school nurse is responsible for developing implementing and managing a school health program for a school population as defined by the school district.
RESPONSIBILITIES will include::
The school nurse is a member of the Student Support Team Crisis Team and Wellness Team.
