POSITION: School Nurse

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED/REQUIRED:

Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Virginia.
Current CPR certification required.

DUTIES:
Review health records and monitor compliance with immunization requirements; administer medications and treatments and monitor side effects; provide first aide for staff and students; act as case manager for students with chronic health conditions; serve as liaison for school system with various doctors community and state agencies; provide information and training on bloodborne pathogens to school staff; serve on crisis intervention team and manage school health emergencies; schoolbased health resource for students families faculty and staff.

LOCATION: All School Locations

SALARY RANGE: Placement on NurseRN salary scale depends on education and experience.

BEGINNING DATE: August 4 2025
