Job Description

PHARMACISTPrimary Responsibilities:
manufactures packages and dispenses medications according to hospital and department procedures. Reviews and interprets physicians orders and evaluates for age appropriate dosage route frequency and interactions. Ensures no serious interactions result or inappropriate drugs are dispensed. Maintains patient medication profiles.
and dispenses prescriptions.
prepares labels and dispenses IV when requested.
in controlling undue expenditure of resources.
and maintains emergency medication supplies.
Required Qualifications:
1. 0 1 years of experience.
2. Bachelors degree in pharmacy required. PharmD Preferred.
3. Current MA Pharmacy License.
4. Experience with computer systems required including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint or Access.
