The California HighSpeed Rail Authoritys Construction Package 1 (CP1) is the first significant construction contract executed on the Initial Operating Section of the HighSpeed Rail project in Californias Central Valley.
The CP1 construction area is a 32mile stretch between Avenue 19 in Madera County to East American Avenue in Fresno County including major work elements in downtown Fresno. It includes 12 roadway / railroad grade separations two mainline viaducts one tunnel realignments of existing railroad tracks utility relocations roadway relocations two trench sections and a major river crossing over the San Joaquin River.

DESCRIPTION:
As aCivilSuperintendentat Company reporting to the Project Manageryou will have the opportunity to:
Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed safely in accordance with design budget and schedule.
Assume responsibility for planning coordinating and supervising onsite functions (schedulingsubcontractor coordination etc.).
Assume responsibility for compliance of craft workers and subcontractors with contract requirements efficient use ofmaterials & equipment site safety plan and timely performance of the project schedule.
Provide technical assistance i.e. interpretation of drawingsrecommending construction methods and equipment etc. as required.
Assist project management in developing project schedule site logistics plan and implementing project procedures working documents standards etc.
Support Site Specific Safety Plan.
Coordinate with onsite Owner employees.
Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction.
REQUIREMENTS:
Highschool diploma or GED or 15 or more years of construction experience
10 or more years experience as a superintendent on heavy civil projects
Experience as a superintendent on projects valued over $200M
Knowledge skills and experience with U.S. construction methods techniques and standards.
Experience with City State Federal Government Clients preferred
Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft
Experienced in MS Word/Excel Procure Bluebeam HCSS Heavy bid or similar software
OSHA certification First Aid Certs
Excellent written and verbal skills
