We are seeking to hire a Principal Specialist Program Cost Controls individual contributor position within the Largo Florida Operations Finance team.
This team transitioned to Collins Aerospace Mission Space SBU and this role supports the IFF portfolio within the Resilient Navigation Solutions group and new business growth initiatives. This is a high profile very demanding program role with multiple tasks and potential interfaces with multiple sites.
The Principal Cost Schedule and Control Analyst will support and partner with their internal customers and provide guidance and knowledge of our cost position risk and opportunities and policy and regulation compliance. We are looking for an individual with strong manufacturing/MRP acumen who can drive project excellence in areas of project startup/baselining cost analysis Estimates at Completions and forecasting. You should possess a passion around program execution finance learning and higher level problem solving by coordinating resolutions with the appropriate functional resources.
This is a hybrid role working at our Largo FL site. Selected candidate must reside within a commutable distance to this facility. No Relocation available for this position.
What You Will Do
- Partner with Operations & Program Office functional teams to influence decisions to successfully execute production and depot contracts
- Oversee financials for multiple programs in a portfolio area
- Program start up maintenance & support including intercompany transfers processing project setup and NWA management
- Earned Value Management cost/schedule control
- Prepare weekly & monthly reports to include LRE development & financial variance analysis
- Assist IPT with the coordination development and delivery of monthly financial forecasts
- Preparation and Analysis of Quarterly EACs including cost analysis risks and opportunities
- Interface with multiple crossfunctional teammates & internal customers at different locations and time zones
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Financial acumen andanalyticalcritical thinking with experience to summarize findings andorganizeanalysis forcustomers
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Prefer
- A Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration
- Demonstrated experience with SAP financial tools/systems and Earned Value Management
- Extensive manufacturing/MRP experience in aerospace & defense industry
- Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) & Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent critical thinking program solving and resolutionmaking skills
- Ability to meet critical deadlines manage multiple priorities and implement process improvement
- Deep interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of organization
- Independent selfmotivated and highly organized
- Prior Program Controls Experience a plus

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
