Job Description
Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Tulsa OK
Pay: $17$18.50/hour DOE (includes an 11.5 shift premium on all hours worked)
Shift: FridaySunday 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are hiring Assembly Technicians to join a growing team in Tulsa. Were looking for motivated individuals who take pride in their work are teamoriented and are committed to growth and excellence. This position requires assembling parts interpreting technical drawings and maintaining high safety and quality standards in a fastpaced production environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble or repair parts and products using hand and power tools
- Interpret and follow technical documentation such as blueprints diagrams and schematics
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all company and industry safety requirements
- Troubleshoot problems and apply critical thinking to resolve issues
- Assist with product testing documentation and maintenance as needed
- Rivet components and perform electrical wiring tasks
- Acquire basic knowledge of test procedures and techniques
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Demonstrated experience with electrical wiring and riveting
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods (standing or sitting)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet production schedules and quality standards
Physical Demands & SafetySensitive Considerations:
This is a safetysensitive position due to the involvement in:
- Handling storage and transport of hazardous materials
- Operating motor vehicles machinery or power tools
- Repairing or monitoring equipment where failure may cause harm
- Working with volatile materials or chemicals
- Regular standing bending squatting and climbing for 95 of the shift
