Job Description
Under direct supervision using standard processes and continuous improvements the Mold Machine Operator operates all injection molding machines producing rubber gaskets to be used in joining systems in a timely and efficient manner that meet the quality standards to ensure delivery of worldclass products to Tyler Coupling customers
Qualifications :
- Operates all injection molding machines to produce rubber gaskets both the Desma and Maplin machines.
- Must be able to work 3rd shift hours 10pm6am SundayThursday and OT when required.
- Responsible for maintaining a constant watch on machine operations to ensure quality of product. Notifies the lead person or Supervisor of any possible machine malfunctions.
- May operate multiple machines at one time.
- Trains other operators as required.
- Dumps scrap container during shift.
- Cleans equipment at the close of each shift.
- Keeps the work area safe clean and orderly at all times.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as needed.
