Job Description:
We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about helping people secure their financial futures. As a Retirement Specialist you will assist LAUSD employees in understanding their pension options benefits and financial strategies to ensure a smooth transition into retirement.
Key Responsibilities:
Educate LAUSD employees on their retirement benefits including CalSTRS and CalPERS.
Provide personalized consultations to help clients create a retirement plan that fits their needs.
Assist with paperwork and the retirement application process.
Use Google Workspace (Docs Sheets Drive Gmail Calendar) and other digital tools to manage client interactions and documentation.
Stay informed on retirement policies and changes that impact LAUSD employees.
Conduct virtual or inperson meetings at your convenience.
Qualifications:
Strong desire to help people retire with dignity and confidence.
Comfortable using Google Workspace email and other online applications.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Selfmotivated organized and able to work independently.
No prior financial or retirement planning experience required training provided!
