Job Description
- Shift: 12hr Nights; 7PM - 7AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2016 $2160
- Provide direct patient care in MedSurg Telemetry units.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions including vital signs and telemetry monitoring.
- Administer medications treatments and IV therapy as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease management post-discharge care and treatment plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation in Epic EMR.
- Float to similar units as required. If assigned to ICU or ED responsibilities will be limited to MedSurg-level patients or assisting staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies procedures and patient safety standards.
- Active RN license in New York State.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience (will consider that have 1 year experience).
- BLS certification (Required).
- MSTELE certification (Preferred).
- Epic EMR experience (Preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong critical thinking communication and problem-solving skills.
- Traveler Only: No local candidates accepted.
