About the Role

As a Veterinary Technician you will be an integral part of the veterinary team assisting veterinarians in diagnostics surgery patient care and client education. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia.
  • Collecting and processing laboratory samples (bloodwork urinalysis cytology etc.).
  • Performing radiographs and other diagnostic imaging.
  • Administering medications vaccines and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
  • Educating pet owners on postsurgical care treatment plans and preventive healthcare.
  • Handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring hospital cleanliness and efficiency.

Who Were Looking For:

  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred but open to experienced noncertified technicians.
  • Active Pennsylvania veterinary technician license (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting.
  • Proficiency in surgical assistance laboratory diagnostics and animal handling.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with veterinarians and support staff.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate highquality care for animals and their owners.
