Job Description
Job Summary for Machine Learning Engineer (Fremont CA):
- Design develop and deploy machine learning models for factory and warehouse operations.
- Transform ambiguous problem statements into robust end-to-end ML solutions.
- Utilize a range of ML techniques including supervised learning and convolutional neural networks.
- Work extensively with Python and modern deep learning frameworks (PyTorch Jax or TensorFlow).
- Build and maintain data pipelines from data collection to model monitoring and deployment.
- Integrate and analyze diverse datasets including images sensor data voice text and tabular data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production process controls quality) to solve high-impact operational challenges.
- Evaluate and compare models using statistical techniques to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain alerting and monitoring systems for production ML models.
- Write clean modular and sustainable code for production-ready solutions.
- Apply foundational statistical knowledge for model assessment.
- Deploy and maintain ML models in real-world production environments.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in manufacturing industrial automation or warehouse settings preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced ambiguous environments.
- H1 visa candidates welcome.
