This posting is for a Speech Language Pathologist. This posting is September 26 2025 and will run through the end of the calendar year. JOB GOAL: Provide therapy to help reduce or eliminate speech and hearing impediments that interfere with the individual students ability to derive full benefit from the districts educational RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide a thorough assessment and diagnosis of speech voice hearing and language impairments and then assist in proper referrals of individuals to agencies and specialists in the community as appropriate; Provide a therapeutic program and develop specific performance objectives to meet individual needs of speech and hearing handicapped children as prescribed by the Evaluation Team and collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement therapy by suggestions for the students daily activities; Maintain thorough ongoing records of referred screened and eligible students as well as individual students receiving therapy or other schoolprovided speech services. Maintain a directory of outside agencies consultants specialists and related services; Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement and provides information support and counseling to parents and families when appropriate; Maintain and improve professional competence through attendance at professional development events and by selfgenerated activities that meet district expectations and the requirements for recertification; Share responsibility for accomplishing the goals and priorities of his/her grade/team/department building and school district attending all faculty and committee meetings as required and districtwide committees as needed; Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal
