Are you ready to be part of a team that drives innovation and excellence in aerospace manufacturing GE Aerospace is seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role you will play a critical part in assembling testing and preparing highquality aerospace components that power the future of flight.
What Youll Do:
Collaborate in a teamoriented environment that embraces lean practices and 5S principles to continuously improve processes and products.
Operate a variety of tools and equipment including testers power tools coil winding machines and hand tools to assemble and test aerospace components.
Perform essential production tasks such as marking blasting degreasing cleaning prepping and testing piece parts subassemblies and units.
Follow detailed work instructions processes and procedures to ensure precision and quality in every task.
Read and interpret dimensional measurements and blueprints to meet exacting standards.
Obtain and maintain department certifications including soldering brazing and operator stamps as required.
What Youll Bring:
A High School diploma or GED.
Basic written and verbal communication skills math skills and computer proficiency.
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work with precision tools.
A commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing experience and familiarity with blueprints.
High Reliability solder certification (94949) is a plus.
