Work environment: Jacksonville site is unique; we are an electronics manufacturing repair and overhaul of engine ignition systems (exciters leads igniters) speed sensors and harnesses.

Are you ready to be part of a team that drives innovation and excellence in aerospace manufacturing GE Aerospace is seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role you will play a critical part in assembling testing and preparing highquality aerospace components that power the future of flight.

What Youll Do:

  • Collaborate in a teamoriented environment that embraces lean practices and 5S principles to continuously improve processes and products.

  • Operate a variety of tools and equipment including testers power tools coil winding machines and hand tools to assemble and test aerospace components.

  • Perform essential production tasks such as marking blasting degreasing cleaning prepping and testing piece parts subassemblies and units.

  • Follow detailed work instructions processes and procedures to ensure precision and quality in every task.

  • Read and interpret dimensional measurements and blueprints to meet exacting standards.

  • Obtain and maintain department certifications including soldering brazing and operator stamps as required.

What Youll Bring:

  • A High School diploma or GED.

  • Basic written and verbal communication skills math skills and computer proficiency.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work with precision tools.

  • A commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing experience and familiarity with blueprints.

  • High Reliability solder certification (94949) is a plus.
