Job Description

Special Education Assistant at SWCEC role is to assist in facilitation of instructional/behavioral programs activities of daily living therapy programs life skills programming and academic work as outlined by the Special Education Teacher/Behavior Consultant/ assist with maintaining implementing and assessing the delivery of services that are contained in individual or collective student Individual Educational Plans (IEP) in an effort to provide them with the physical and emotional support they need to gain full benefits from the districts special education program. This includes involvement with both instructional support activities and supervision of noninstructional and benefits will be according to Association agreement.
