Education/Licensure/Credential: Have earned a minimum of an associate degree & must Hold an RT (R) or RCIS (Reg Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRTR Radiography or a imaging : Coronary Cardiac catheterization PCI Impella/IABP PFO Vascular Peripheral angiogram and intervention thrombectomy fistulagram EVAR Limflow revascularization EP Ablation (afib flutter SVT VOM) device placement (pacemaker defibrillator CCM loop recorder) LAAOOnCall: STEMI call required approximately 89 days of call per month including one weekend. Holiday call required rotates on an annual basis at least one major (Christmas Thanksgiving New Years) and one minor (Memorial Day July 4th Labor Day). Schedule: Four 10hour shifts 7:005:30pm your day off will not be the same day each weekExperience: 2 years Cath EP or Vascular experience preferred. Prepares room and equipment instructs patients monitors patients condition and provides routine and emergency care during procedures. Contributes to the orientation and training of other team members. Helps in daily monthly and quarterly quality control initiatives through auditing and Functions of the RoleHelps Physicians with arteriograms/catheterizations permanent pacemaker implantations implantable cardiac defibrillators diagnostic and interventional peripheral and coronary interventional and thrombolytic national and state radiation protection regulations for patients self and staff. Provides emergency procedures like CPR and defibrillation as pre and postprocedure care and patients for catheterization or electrophysiology related questions to make patient patients ECG pressures temperature and impendences while in Electrophysiology Lab; notifies physician of in running RF/Cryo ablation systems 3D mapping and records other procedural and maintains images that may include stenosis testing formatting and processing on both cardiac and peripheral in procedure rooms and collects registry and quality data on appropriate catheterization data and prepares procedure and maintains sterile fields for Lab and maintains inventory of procedure room procedure rooms are adequately stocked and equipment has not and/or audits resources during yearly routine calibration and maintenance of complex equipment; notifies appropriate team members for in the orientation and training of new staff and students or extra duties as established by supervisor/ some level of quality control monitoring such as NPSG auditing turnaround times performance improvement initiatives. (Daily monthly and/or quarterly).Participates in mutual governance department hospital or professional organizations and committees. This includes LEAN initiatives NOBLE 5S projects interdepartmental committees professional organization participation and QC assurance with the committee as patients to and from procedural good customer service Success FactorsEducation and/or Experience requirements (must meet one of the following): Associates degree in a related field or Completion of US military training program and experience equivalent to an Associates degree or 2 years of related cardiovascular lab be available for On Call response requirements per facility/department and ability to apply complex invasive cardiac and vascular values instrumentation and of cardiovascular anatomy and StatementWe believe that all people should feel welcomed valued and supported and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we Associates or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualificationEXPERIENCE Less than 1 Year of ExperienceCERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION ACLS (ACLS): ACLS within 30 days of hire/ Life Support (BLS): BLS within 30 days of hire/ Radiography (ARRTR) Cert Cardiac Device Spec (CCDS) Cert EP Specialist (CEPS) Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) Reg Cardio Electrophysiology (RCES) Reg Cardiovascular Invasive Sp (RCIS): Must meet one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Tech (ARRTR) and MRT through TX Medical Board or Cardio Invasive Spec (RCIS) or Reg Cardiac Electro Spec (RCES) or Cert Electro Spec (CEPS) or Cert Cardiac Device Spec (CCDS).
