Job Description
Skills and Requirements:
5 years of professional experience in software development with a proven track record of delivering highquality solutions.
2 years of experience in Appian development with experience in BPM applications and leading teams for senior roles
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Appian Designer SAIL Process Modeler and data modeling.
Strong understanding of REST and SOAP webservices with experience integrating Appian with other various platforms
Solid understanding of Appian architecture principles design patterns and best practices.
Excellent problemsolving debugging and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Experience with Agile Methodologies and working in fastpaced environments.
Additional Preferred skills:
o Experience with web development frameworks and libraries (e.g. React Angular .NET or similar) is a plus
o Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure or Google Cloud) and microservices architecture is a plus.
o Expertise with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Certification: Associated Developer certification is a plus
Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Software Developer to join our IT team at Allied World. In this role you will lead the design development and implementation of software applications and solutions that support our insurance business. As a key technical resource you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver highquality scalable solutions while mentoring junior developers and driving technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design development and maintenance of complex software applications that support business objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.
Architect scalable efficient and secure solutions for web and software applications.
Write review and optimize clean efficient and maintainable code following best practices.
Mentor and guide junior developers providing technical leadership and code reviews.
Troubleshoot debug and resolve critical application issues in a timely manner.
Drive the adoption of new technologies tools and processes to improve team productivity and system performance.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate applications with other business systems.
Ensure adherence to software development life cycle (SDLC) processes including testing deployment and documentation.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
