JOB TITLE: RN PreOp PACU (PRN Fridays)

*Must be available to work on Fridays*

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Responsible for assessing and preparing patients for Cardiac Cath Cardiac Rhythm Management Implants and IR procedures. Recovers monitors and cares for post cardiac catheterization post cardiac intervention post peripheral angiography/intervention post Cardiac Rhythm Management patients.

RECEIVES DIRECTION FROM: Receives direction from: Providers Anesthesia providers Nurse Manager Cath Lab Manager/Director and Charge Nurse.

GIVES DIRECTION TO: LPN C.N.A

EXPERIENCE:

• PrePost Cardiac Catheterization preferred.
• Tele or PACU/ICU preferred.
• Advanced critical thinking skills; selfmotivated; adaptable to a fastpaced environment; time management embraces change; innovative thinker focused on process preferred.

EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATONS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current state of PA Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications required
