Job Description

As the Transformation Manager you will be leading the development and sustainability of a Transformational culture within the North American Operations. Manage the assessment prioritization and execution of Transformation projects which meet yearly North American Transformation objectives set during budgeting. Assist in leading the deployment integration and sustainability of continuous improvement initiatives and performance strategies.

What will you do:

  • Work with the members of a workstream to identify and capture opportunities for transformation.

  • Prioritize and complete improvement opportunities with the Transformation team and workstream personnel ensuring alignment with key business objectives. Be engaged with the workstreams to optimize overall North American Transformation.

  • Assist with the workstreams project portfolio reporting status and initiative benefits.

  • Act as change leader to the workstreams. Remove barriers and assist in managing risks to ensure completion of transformation initiative milestones.

  • Escalate issues as required.

  • Applies change management process practices and methodologies consistently.

  • Through formal assessment (such as gap assessments) and informal visits ensure that best practices are shared and key learnings incorporated.

  • Act as the liaison between workstreams.

  • Monitors dependencies across multiple interrelated projects

  • Teach and mentor employees to optimize a workstreams ability to effectively implement transformation initiatives.

What will you need:

  • Bachelors degree required in Business Engineering or technical field.

  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience; demonstrated leadership and management experience with an understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal relationships.

  • 5 years experience creating and executing continuous improvement and change management activities that drive organizational results and change.

  • Very strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to use factbased and wellthoughtout arguments to challenge all levels or change behavior/techniques as required

  • Positive attitude and the ability to maintain professional behavior in challenging situations.

  • Experience analyzing trends drawing conclusions and influencing data driven decisions to leadership. (analyze recommend sell).

  • Prior experience leading change and or continuous improvement initiatives projects.

  • Experience working within an industrial setting preferred

  • Ability to influence across the organization to drive accountability and follow up for results.

  • Capable of driving consensus among leadership to enable transformation and advance strategic priorities.

  • Understanding of basic problem solving techniques plant processes and the essentials behind metrics and KPIs.

  • Proficiency in facilitating discussions and identifying root causes of problems with all levels of the organization.

  • Adaptable with the ability to perform at a high level within a highly autonomous environment.

  • Formal training in Change Management and Continuous Improvement (i.e. Lean Six Sigma Kaizen Workout SCRUM) is an asset but not required.
