Who were looking for
The Toyota Financial Services Technology Operations Center is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Enterprise Data and Technology Platform Service Engineer.
Reporting to the Manager of TOC Engineering the individual in this role will play a pivotal role in the maintenance and enhancement of support for our Enterprise Data and Technology Platform. Engineer will collaborate with the DevOps and Cloud Software Platform team to ensure the seamless transition of services to the TOC Engineering team. Furthermore the engineer will work closely with the Major Incident Management team to address and resolve issues within the production environment
What youll be doing
- Provide expertlevel support for CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or AWS Code Pipeline
- Provide technical support and troubleshootingfor enterprise data and technology platforms.
- Monitor and maintain system performance ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentationfor system configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide containerization solutions
- Work with stakeholders to resolve technical issuesand improve system performance.
- Participate in oncall rotationsto provide 24/7 support for critical systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to AWS infrastructure and services ensuring minimal downtime and disruption
- Collaborate with the Major Incident Management team to address and resolve critical issues in the production environment
- Participate in incident response activities including root cause analysis and postincident reviews
- Work closely with the DevOps and Cloud Software Platform team to ensure the successful transition of services to TOC Engineering
- Stay updated on the latest AWS DevOps services features and best practices.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve support processes and cloud infrastructure
What you bring
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field. Proven relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional Certification
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Software Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in using DevOps tools such as Jenkins GitHub Chef Artifactory and Jira.
- Proficiency in using popular API Gateway solutions.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Added bonus if you have
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other relevant certifications.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practicesand tools.
- Understanding of Data Integration Tools like Mulesoft and TIBCO
- Knowledge of RealTime Data Processing and automation tools like Apache Kafka and NiFi
- Experience with scripting languagessuch as Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of networking and security principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
