Job Description
THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this vital role you will deliver a range of services to ensure the effective functioning of the Washington County Children & Youth Department. Your responsibilities will encompass scheduling and coordinating transportation for children parents and families to court hearings parenting placements and appointments. Additionally you will oversee and facilitate parentchild visitations while also providing assistance to agency casework staff in executing mandated and courtordered services. Record maintenance including the upkeep of reports and case files will also be a key aspect of your duties.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be nonnegotiable.
- The position will automatically progress to to a County Social Services Aide 2 after completion of one year of service at an hourly rate of $19.47 per hr ($37966.50/yr).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Graduation from high school;or
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience..
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police clearance PA Child Abuse history clearance and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
