This opportunity is fulltime during day shift.

Location: Knoxville TN

Days: Two Scheduling Options available:

• Option 1: Monday through Friday with rotating weekend coverage

• Option 2: Weekendbased Schedule (Saturday and Sunday required) with flexible additional hours on Friday and/or Monday to reach fulltime status.

Hours: First shift 6:30AM to 3PM

In this role you will:

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process through moderate and high complexity testing
• Analyze review and report testing results
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a fastpaced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
• Champion safety compliance and quality control

All you need is:

• High school diploma or equivalent and the completion of an AMAapproved Medical Laboratory training program to qualify as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

• Or

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent preferred and completion of an AMAapproved program of Medical Technology to qualify as a Medical Technologist (MT)

• Current TN licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT).

• Certification or eligible by ASCP or equivalent

• 6 months of laboratory training or experience
• Strong reading writing and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment including but not limited to: telephones computers automated analyzers centrifuges microscopes manual and automated pipettes and audible alarms.

Bonus points if youve got:

• 2 years of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing within area of specialty
